Ingredients
Water, thickener: E 414 gum arabic; acidity regulator: E 270 lactic acid; colorant: E 120 carmine, E 101 (ii) riboflavin-5′-phosphate, E 131 patent blue V; preservative: E 202 potassium sorbate
Preparation
First boil the eggs and keep warm. Cover the work surface with a mat.
Note: Eggs should only be cooked by adults.
Put on the gloves, separate the paint cartridges and cut off the tips.
Place the paint cartridges in a glass with the opening facing upwards. Place the kitchen paper on a plate. Place the dye paper on the kitchen paper.
Dyeing & dripping
Spread approx. 30 drops of different colors over the entire surface of the dyeing paper.
Place a warm, dried egg on the dipped dyeing paper.
Wrap the dyeing paper, including the kitchen towel, tightly around the egg and press down by hand for approx. 10 seconds.
Place the egg with the uncolored areas on the coloring paper and press down again for 10 seconds.
Turn the egg in the paper until the desired color is achieved.
For the next egg, dye the paper again and color the egg as described above.
Use a new dyeing paper to dye a new color combination.
