Instructions for use

Ingredients

Water, thickener: E 414 gum arabic; rapeseed oil, acidity regulator: E 270 lactic acid; color: E 101 (ii) riboflavin 5′-phosphate, E 120 carmine, E 131 patent blue V, E 127 erythrosine, E 142 green S; preservative: E 202 potassium sorbate

Boil the eggs and keep warm.

Cut the sponge into three equal parts.

Put on the gloves, separate the paint cartridges, shake and cut off the tip. Place the opened cartridges in a jar.

Put about 10 drops of one color into the glove.

Turn the egg in the palm of your hand and then place the dyed egg crosswise over an egg cup to dry.

Only prime three to four eggs at first. More eggs would cool too quickly. The dabbed-on paint will then only dry slowly.

Put a few drops of paint on a saucer or plate. Dip the sponge into the paint and, if necessary, wipe off the excess paint on the edge of the plate.

Dab a pattern onto the primed eggs with the sponge and then lay them across an egg cup to dry.

After drying, dab on more colors.

The added oil gives the eggs a very special shine.

Tip: The colors are particularly radiant on white eggs. If you like, try red and blue as a base color in addition to the light colors.
