HEITMANN KREATIV presents the Halloween Cookies creative set, which makes it possible to design spooky cookies in various Halloween motifs. The set contains 3 cookie cutters with a suggested recipe, vegetable-based food coloring in pumpkin yellow and purple and a food coloring pen in black for decorating.

Ingredients
Food coloring powder:
(sugar, coloring plant concentrates safflower, black carrot, spirulina)
Food coloring pen:
(water, humectant: E 422 glycerol; ethanol, colorant: E 151 brilliant black PN, E 155 brown HT, E 101 (ii) riboflavin-5′-phosphate)
Pour the food coloring into the jar, add 1 teaspoon of water and stir to dissolve the coloring. For the icing, mix 50g powdered sugar and 1 tbsp water to make a creamy icing. Add the dissolved food coloring until the desired shade is achieved. Repeat the process for the other color.
Spread the icing over the cookies with a teaspoon. We recommend using a slightly thinner instrument (e.g. toothpick) to spread the icing over the tops of the cookies. Tip: When decorating, the different icing colors can be mixed for a marble effect on the cookies. Allow the icing to dry.
The pen can be used to give the cookies spooky faces. The cookies should only be prepared under adult supervision.
Note:
For a lemon icing, simply add ½ tbsp lemon juice to the icing. By adding lemon juice, you will achieve a color change as if by magic.
Recipe suggestion:
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 100g powdered sugar
- 2 pinches of salt
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg (size M)
- 125g soft butter
According to the tested recipe, the cookies are baked for 7-10 minutes at 180 degrees (fan oven: 160 degrees).
