Ingredients
Acidity regulator: E 500 (ii) sodium hydrogen carbonate; sugar, color: E 120 carmine, E 133 brilliant blue FCF, E 131 patent blue V; emulsifier: E 433 polysorbate 80
Boil the eggs and leave to cool.
Note: Eggs should only be cooked by adults
Cover the work surface with a mat and put on gloves.
Pour 50ml cold water and 50ml 5% household vinegar into the large beaker and mix.
Pin the sleeve together, place on a baking tray and place the mug in the opening of the sleeve.
Fill a color bag (small bag) and a bag of baking soda (large bag) into a small beaker and add water with 5 pipette fillings. Use the spatula to make a color paste.
Repeat the process with the remaining colors.
Take the egg in your hand and apply the different color pastes generously to the egg using the spatula. By rolling the egg back and forth in your hand, the color paste can be distributed well.
Now place the egg in the volcano.
➡️ The solution starts to foam
When the foam disintegrates, remove the egg from the volcano with a spoon and carefully pat dry with kitchen paper.
For the next volcanic eruption, add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the volcano cup.
Apply the color paste to the next egg and then place the egg in the volcano.
Renew the vinegar-water mixture in the large beaker every 3 volcanic eruptions.
